ELEMENTARY 

Elementary School at UCS consists of Kindergarten – 5th grade. UCS is dedicated to instilling the Lordship of Jesus Christ in our students as well as maintaining high academic standards. Teachers provide a well-disciplined environment where your children feel loved and respected.

Daily devotions and Bible lessons, weekly chapel services

90 minutes of daily Language Arts instruction including phonics, reading, writing (print and cursive) and speaking

45 minutes of daily math instruction, mathematics combines the best of modern and traditional systems to provide an excellent mathematical base

Interactive whiteboards in every classroom

The school is fully recognized by the Illinois State Board of Education and a member of ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International). UCS also has a strong athletic program.  UCS is a member of SIJHSAA (Southern Illinois Junior High School Athletic Association) and competes with area Christian and public schools. UCS is also a member of the Quad County Athletic Conference. The QCAC is made up of 10 SIJHSAA schools in Franklin, Jackson, Perry and Williamson counties.
